Join us for an evening of poetry featuring eight fantastic female voices!

Join The Rumpus and Marías at Sampaguitas for the first installment of WOMEN SPEAK, a new monthly reading series geared towards creating a stage for BIPOC women-identified poets and prose writers of all stages of their career. Its mission is to counter poetic gatekeeping and bring together powerful writers with new and forthcoming work.

December's feature readers are Tiana Clark and Vanessa Angélica Villarreal, and joining them will be Khalisa Rae, Ashley M. Jones, Natalie Lima, Gaia Rajan, Jihyun Yun, and Nikki Wallschlaeger! Emceed by Taylor Byas.
