Solid State Books hosts multiple book clubs, all free and open to the public and new members. You can find each month’s selections at the front of the store and online, and all selections are sold at a 10% discount until the meeting date. Horror Book Club
Led by Horror enthusiast Philippe Nassif. We will be exploring all things horror, from ghosts and ghouls to slashers and thrillers and everything in between. Join DC's premier Horror book club hosted at Solid State Books! Meets on the 3rd Wednesday, monthly.
Sapphic Book Club
Led by Nissa. If you are just out here trying to live in a WLW book world we have a book club for YOU built for lovers of queer reads of the wlw variety. Don't miss out on dishing about sapphic picks with like minded readers. Meets on the 4th Sunday, monthly.

Knits n' Yarns knitting group is an open group for all bookish fiber artists to discuss works-in-progress, finished objects, and our favorite reads, current reads, and titles for our to-be-read lists. Bring your projects and stories, and join us for Knits n' Yarns!
Knits n’ Yarns meets at the front table every two weeks on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m.
